FaithWorks is a one on one prayer ministry that began in 1990. Instructed by God to study the power of agreement (which HE implemented in the Garden with Adam and Eve), I learned to touch and agree with the people of God in prayer without interjecting my thoughts or feelings. As a result, I began to see a move of God for His people, in my family, among my friends, co-workers, church members, and in the lives of my enemies.
I learned the true meaning of James 5:16 says “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that you may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much.” In other words when we come together and pray focused prayers without any distractions or interruption, on one accord then deliverance and healing will manifest. Secondly, Matthew 18:19 says, “Again, I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching anything that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.” Again, when any two of us talk to God (pray) on one accord, in agreement as God has instructed us the bible says that God “shall” do it for us.
Saints of God, shall is a promise. There is no supposition in shall it is a definite. God is not a joker. He is a God of integrity and honor. When HE says something, He is bringing it to pass as HE speaks. When we come together in agreement we are allowing the power of God to manifest in this earth realm so the world can know that HE is real.
We help them to understand that God is more than a notion or some bright idea that someone came up with but HE is living, and moving and in HIM we become real and victorious.
Prayer is about taking God at HIS word. It is about trusting God to be. Somebody may ask, be what? You fill in the blank for what you need HIM to be and believe HE is and that is faith.
And…that is why FaithWorks! Because it is all about us and the God we trust!
